Legal & Compliance

ShieldGuard Protocol is committed to operating within a transparent and compliant legal framework.

  • Jurisdiction: ShieldGuard Protocol Ltd has been incorporated in a jurisdiction recognized for its supportive regulatory environment towards blockchain and cryptocurrency projects. This strategic decision ensures a stable foundation for our operations and public offerings while navigating the evolving global regulatory landscape.

  • Legal Counsel: Recognizing the importance of a legally sound foundation, ShieldGuard Protocol is committed to navigating the evolving regulatory landscape of the cryptocurrency industry. While our initial presale will be conducted in a decentralized manner, reflecting the principles of early cryptocurrency launches and prioritizing accessibility without mandatory Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, we acknowledge that legal and regulatory requirements will be relevant as the project develops and expands. ShieldGuard Protocol is dedicated to ensuring compliance with applicable regulations in the jurisdictions where the project operates and engages with users. We will continue to monitor the regulatory environment and adapt our approach as needed to maintain the long-term sustainability and integrity of the project.

  • Token Classification: Our legal team will work diligently to ensure the $ SHPRO token is classified appropriately (e.g., as a utility token) to minimize regulatory ambiguities and risks. The profit distribution and airdrop mechanisms will be carefully structured to avoid classification as a security in various jurisdictions, particularly given the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding “dividends” or profit-sharing from token holdings and general token distributions.

  • Public Presale Compliance: ShieldGuard Protocol is committed to navigating the regulatory landscape with a pragmatic approach. To ensure the smooth progression of our decentralized presale and to proactively address potential crypto-related licensing requirements within the United Kingdom, we have made the decision to explicitly restrict citizens and residents of the UK from participating in our presale and from utilizing any services offered by ShieldGuard Protocol Ltd. This measure is intended to allow us to proceed with our decentralized launch while carefully considering and adhering to regulatory obligations in various jurisdictions as our project evolves on a global scale.

  • Compliance for Internal Projects: Each internally developed crypto project will undergo its own rigorous legal assessment and compliance strategy to ensure its structure and tokenomics align with regulatory requirements in relevant jurisdictions from its inception.
